This A/V stand is constructed with solid maple slats post-tensioned with a system of internal steel rods.  This design results in a strong, stable frame while allowing for plenty of cross ventilation.

The two bottom drawers are built with dovetail joinery, are mounted on Blum soft-closing drawer slides and are sized to fit two rows of DVD cases each.

The two middle glass shelves slot into mortised groves from the rear, and can be adjusted in height.  Additional shelves can be added to order.
