COMMISSION FURNITURE

Do you have an idea for the perfect piece of furniture, but you can't find it anywhere? Let us design and build it for you.

Here is how it works:

  • Initial consultation - contact us to describe your needs (contact information below).  We can work from just a general idea or sketches, detailed drawings, photos, 3d models...

  • Quote - based on your needs and ideas we will provide you with a free, no obligation quote along with a rendered CGI image. 

  • Design completion - we will work with you to finalize the design exactly to your needs.

  • Commission deposit - a 50% deposit of the quoted price will be required to start the build.

  • Progress updates - regular photo updates of the build process will be sent to you, scheduled in person visits are always welcome.

  • Final payment/delivery - upon completion and final payment the piece will be delivered and setup at your convenience.

ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES

  • Supply and/or installation of custom architectural hardwood elements (see scope of services below)

  • Able to work with different payment structures - Contractual, progress draw, purchase orders and invoiced work.

  • Design and visualization services - CAD plans, computer renderings and photo/rendering hybrid images.

Scope of services and materials:

  • Free-standing furniture - all types of hardwood furniture, from side tables to beds.

  • On site residential services - Architectural hardwood elements (stair treads, mantles, doors, butcher block counter-tops, built-in furniture...) within the GVRD only.

  • On site commercial services - hardwood display cases, architectural elements, sales and presentation furnishings... within the GVRD only.

  • Materials - we limit to using only solid hardwood and fully recyclable non-toxic materials such as glass, steel and aluminum. Please read our sustainability page for detailed information.

  • Build quality - our overriding goal is to build furniture and architectural elements to last a lifetime, we limit ourselves to techniques, tools and materials that will result in the most durable pieces possible.
